This week Device Authority welcomes Kyle Pond to the sales team as part of the company’s growth strategy for North America.
Kyle joins as VP Sales and Business Development, based on the East Coast, and will work closely with the existing global team to help drive sales growth and new customer acquisition. Working closely with Microsoft Azure IoT sales teams, as well as PTC and Global Systems Integrators, Kyle will focus on building new partnerships in several markets including medical and healthcare (IoMT), connected vehicles, and Industrial IoT.
He brings an extensive track record in building and leading sales in a variety of software segments including enterprise security and IT infrastructure. Most recently, Kyle was the VP of Americas for Boldon James, an endpoint security vendor, where he led the Americas go-to-market activities. Prior to this role, Kyle was at Protegrity where he held numerous leadership positions including Sales, Alliances and Marketing. He was also the VP of Channel Sales at Kyriba and an Industry Analyst at Gartner. During his time at Gartner he covered the ERP market and vendors such as SAP and Oracle. Kyle earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island received and an MBA from the John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University.
