Device Authority expands US team with Industrial IoT expertise

This week Device Authority welcomes Paul Shouse to the sales team as part of the company’s growth strategy for North America and expansion of the Manufacturing and Industrial verticals. Building on previous successes in the IIoT markets, there is an increasing demand for ensuring and securing critical infrastructure, IP and revenue protection, as well as critical safety.

Paul joins as VP Sales and Business Development and will work closely with the existing global team to help drive sales growth and new customer acquisition in the IIoT markets. Paul will work closely with the Microsoft Azure teams and focus on building new partnerships to deliver Industrial IoT solutions to the respective markets.

Paul is an industry veteran of the IoT Industry including industry verticals such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Solar & Wind Energy, Agriculture, Automotive Connected Car and Telematics industry since 1995. He is the coauthor of multiple patents for the use of GPS technology and has been involved in the design, development, sales, and deployment of over one million devices into assets around the globe. While he has never worked on a rig or for an oilfield service company, for the past 21 years Paul has focused heavily on providing solutions to the Oil & Gas Industry. Paul is a member of the Texas Oil & Gas Roundtable, AESC – Oilfield Trucking & Well Servicing Magazine Committees, International Association of Drilling Contractors, Society of Petroleum Engineers and past President three-year term of Texas Offshore Performance Powerboat Squadron which is a 501c non-profit charity on Lake Conroe Texas.
