Device Authority is sponsoring and exhibiting at several events worldwide over the coming weeks. The team will be showcasing a variety of demos which illustrate how KeyScaler delivers cyber safety and security for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, the applications they connect to and the data generated.

Last week we sponsored IoT Solutions World Congress (IoTSWC) in Barcelona with our partner HID IdenTrust. The event was busy, and we had good quality conversations with potential end customers and IoT ecosystem partners which spanned Industrial IoT, Automotive, Smart Buildings and Oil & Gas sectors. Rob Dobson spoke on a Healthcare IoT security panel alongside Deloitte, Dell Technologies and Catholic Health Services of Long Island.

This week we’re sponsoring the 3rd annual Secure IoT, Internet of Things Security Conference on 7th November in Reading, UK. Leading organizations such as AWS, Arm, DigiCert, IBM and Microsoft are providing guidance and best practice on the potential risks and vulnerabilities posed by IoT systems and connected devices. Director of Technology, Rob Dobson, is presenting on IoT Security for Industrial and Smart Factory use cases.

Next week is IoT Tech Expo North America in Santa Clara on November 13th and 14th. The IoT Tech Expo North America will bring together key industries from across the globe for two days of top-level content and discussion across 5 co-located events including the largest Blockchain Expo, the brand new 5G Expo, Cybersecurity & Cloud Expo and Ai & Big Data Expo. Find the Device Authority team at Booth 797.

The fourth stop is the IoT Security Foundation Conference in London on November 26th. This is the longest running dedicated IoT Security Conference which has five different tracks, over 40 speakers and several training workshops – renowned for delivering high quality content. It has been said that security is a team sport and that transparency cultivates trust. The IoTSF dual themes for 2019 are therefore collaborative security and transparency – or to put it another way, collaborate and illuminate. Rob Dobson will be leading a session on ‘Building, Securing and deploying smart industrial solutions.’

The final stop in our 2019 events schedule is the Healthcare Security Forum in Boston on December 9th and 10th. Healthcare information security breaches now happen at least once per day, according to HIPAA Journal. That rate isn’t showing signs of slowing down—patient data records now fetch more than credit card accounts on black markets. As the industry embeds technology into healthcare workflows and connects more medical devices, gaps in security are putting organizations at greater risk. Join us at the Healthcare Security Forum to:

  • Discover the emerging threats—and how experts recommend you prepare
  • Learn how to maximize the security of your existing tech investments
  • Attend collaborative breakout sessions on issues relevant to your organization
  • Sneak a peek at the most-recognized healthcare organizations’ information security programs
  • Get up close with and ask questions about the newest tech solutions

Demos shown by the Device Authority team at the upcoming events will include:

  • Microsoft Azure IoT DPS enrolment, certificate provisioning and end-to-end data security / encryption
  • Security Suite for PTC ThingWorx platform; data security, device authentication, management interface, device authorization
  • Secure connected smart factory
  • Securing IoT medical devices with HSMs and IoT platforms

Please contact us if you would like to arrange a meeting at one of the events.
